Rod and Cathy Park knew there was something special in the land when they started planting their vineyard in 1992. Cabernet Franc is historically famous for being a parent of Cabernet Sauvignon in addition to being one of the popular blending grapes of Bordeaux and standout red grape of the Loire Valley. It ripens earlier than Cabernet Sauvignon, is lighter in body and traditionally produces perfumed, herbaceous wines with aromas of red fruits. The Feather Ridge vineyard is planted along the ridgeline shared with the Raven’s Rock.
